Can anyone figure out the nutrition information for Orville Redenbacher's Gourmet Popping Corn Light Butter 2.9 0z bag?
I am totally confused! If you eat a whole bag ,which should be about two and a half serving, is it only 38 calories?
Yet if you eat a mini bag of Orville's pop corn, it is 100 calories.
If someone could "decode" all the nutrition info for me, (calories, carb, sodium, ect) I would appreciate it!

I find popcorn very hard to figure out! Who eats unpopped popcorn?? I gave up and bought the 100 calorie bags

I went on their site and it does say 15 calories per serving and there are 2.5 servings. 37 and a half calories for 5.5 cups of popped popcorn sounds better to me,. If its right

I have always hated the way that popcorn nutrition info is listed! It doesn't make any sense to talk about the unpopped popcorn so why do they list it like that? I just went through this myself today when I had some popcorn. The label gave two amounts. Serving popped, which was 1/3 of the bag (and it gave a weight) and the unpopped serving, which I ignored. I have an electric scale, so I just weighed out the amount. It was about 150 calories or something like that. It wasn't butter flavored or anything. Honestly, this is why I try to buy the 100 calorie bags for popcorn! At least then I know I can eat the whole bag and actually know how many servings I had!
