Quick foam rolling questions

I tried foam rolling with a trainer for the first time today (it was the intro/talking/free session) so at the end we did about 15 min of rolling and 15 min of cardio boxing (upper body mostly) and that was 4 hours ago, and my legs are so sore now. I'm going to extrapolate that my legs are sore from the foam rolling, but can anyone verify if this is a typical response to rolling? I'm just trying to understand my body.
Thanks
Thanks

Yeah the first few times it really hurts. Once you start to get used to it you will love it. It hurts but in such a good way0
