He said that it may be that they ended up eating more or those who exercised during the 30-minute sessions could have trained for slightly longer because they still had energy left at the end of the session.
So they didn't control for calories, or even how much exercise the men actually did? This does not seem to be a very well-run study ...0 -
There is too many variables for this to be accurate.
The people exercising for 30 minutes could of pushed themselves harder because they only had 30 minutes to train while the people there for an hour could of taken it slow so they didn't overexert themselves in the time.
Those going for the hour had a rough count of calories burnt each session so they could of been eating more, or eating back calories, while those who only exercised for 30 minutes had no idea so probably stuck to a 1700-1800 calorie diet.0
