How crucial is it to actually log your spent calories?

I never log my work-out calories, I try to stick to my calorie frame no matter what, but I'm starting to think that it's been hindering me, since a lot of time I get a good 2-3 weeks of perfect diet and then I just break, I thought maybe I eat too little? an average workout for me includes 40-50 mins of aerobics, and 40~ min of heavy lifting

Doing that amount of exercise I would definitely be accounting for it.
It would be different if you were only doing enough to create a very small deficit, or only exercising sporadically0
