I use runtastic pro but nike is really good too, might be more accurate but I use runtastic because it automatically uploads to MFP

I use 'Walk Star' for days I choose to walk places. It's pretty basic. You can't leave the app once you start it, so listening to music on your phone at the same time is not an option. I'm sure there's better ones out there, I just haven't been bothered to look. I think I just chose it because it was free :P

Runtastic Pro, Endomondo, and Nike+. I used to use Nike+ a lot (have over 700 miles logged), but switched to Runtastic when I started logging my exercises on MFP (Runtastic does it automatically, as does Endomondo, but not Nike+). I use a Garmin Forerunner now so don't use my iPhone apps as much.

I've tried endomondo, but found it overestimated calories burned by loads, runtastic pro is a lot better imho

I use runtastic. It's just as accurate as my garmin as far as distances go.

I use iSmoothRun - because it also track shoe mileage, and cadence, and actually takes your HR into account when calculating calorie burn (when using a bluetooth HRM strap). I have it upload to Runkeeper so I can track it online.

I use Strava for both walking and cycling. It gives you distance covered, time and calories. If you buy the correct HRM Chest strap, it can also record your heartrate. Oh, it records your route as well.

Best of all, the app is free.
