Yep, The Vicar of Dibley, some of the funniest British actors assembled in that show, pity the show has ended.

Gary Waldhorn ... David Horton (24 episodes, 1994-2007)
Emma Chambers ...Alice Tinker / Horton... (24 episodes, 1994-2007)
James Fleet ... Hugo Horton (24 episodes, 1994-2007)
Dawn French ... Geraldine Granger (24 episodes, 1994-2007)
    Roger Lloyd-Pack Owen Newitt (24 episodes, 1994-2007)
Trevor Peacock ... Jim Trott (24 episodes, 1994-2007)
John Bluthal ... Frank Pickle (23 episodes, 1994-2007)

Try the library. Librarians are notorious fans of britcoms, and I used to always get them from the library.

    Just a thought. . .

the "ibley" was my 5% question mark. Vicar of somebody.

I used to live within walking distance of Dawn French, the woman who played that role. Rumour had it she wasn't a pleasant person to be around. They (her husband, Lenny Henry and she) have or had (it's been about 3 years since I was there) a lovely spread though - stables and suchlike, right around Reading area in Berkshire.

You can probably order the episodes on Amazon, but be careful you get the US version if you're in the US (NTSC). PAL, the UK tapes, won't play in US VCRs.
  • try www.surfthechannel.com they have a lot of shows there...
