Compact elliptical recommendations?

Hi Everyone! It is becoming harder and harder for me to get to the gym and although I have enough free weights at home to keep me busy, I would love to have some way to do cardio here in my apartment. I am looking on Amazon and at the Sears website, but every single machine seems to be defective or noisy. Has anyone purchased one that is no longer than 55 inches length? have you had a good experience with it? Thanks in advance!
