LOL!! Thanks guys!! You made me laugh! Thanks for your input! I have been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome in the past, and just recently have finally had soft stools instead of the runs! Horrible feeling! It has been almost 13 years since I've been diagnosed, so I wasn't sure if anything like that was necessary. I haven't been taking medicine for my IBS for years, because it didn't help at all. Must be my new healthier eating that has done it! :) I've just been cutting out the pop and drinking more water. Hmmm....

REALLY You have IBS and are thinking about a colon cleanse to help you lose weight?!?!? DO YOU WANT A BAD IBS FLARE UP!!!! Take it from a GI nurse don't even think about it!!! You will regret it and end up in the md office asking for help! SMH Colon cleanses should only be used if your having a colonoscopy! Other wise they can be dangerous. #1 they will dehydrate you. #2 removing all the normal healthy flora from your colon will leave you open for a infection thus triggering a IBS flare up. #3 You don't lose any weight...it pulls water from your body to move the waste(food your body has already used the calories from) along quicker-

    JUST DON"T DO IT!!!

Doing any kind of cleanse will definitely reduce the size of your wallet.

If you think you have IBS, you might want to consider going gluten free and find out if it's a gluten sensitivity causing all the problems.
