well, something like that. But now I found out many of my highschool friends are gathering this Summer and I want to look good. Vanity, a great motivator if that's all you can muster, LOLLLLL!!! Deep down though(well, not so deep really)I do want to feel good about me. I am not enjoying aging but it has to be done, LOL! I am 57 and not ready to kick back and watch the boob tube the rest of my life.

So I am back to walking and did ok on my food intake yesterday, went over but not too bad. So I knew how to cut the calories back for today and planned ahead. I am on target and doing good, 2 DAYS IN A ROW!!! Woo hoo!! If I kick the bucket now at least I went out trying;)

Hugs and encouragement your way from me, Denise:)

    Great to see you back!

After losing 50 lbs I have learned this (among other things)

    1. Log your food religiously for at least two months. No matter what. You will be educating yourself....the most important thing.
    2. Drink your water.
    3. Weigh once a week only.
    4. Take your measurements weekly and don't put so much emphasis on the scale.
    5. Do whatever exercise you can. It doesn't have to be organized or consist of two hours of your day. Park farther away from the store. Walk up and down every aisle at the grocery. Carry your bags to the car, don't use the cart. Do "curls" with the bags while you carry them. Take the steps. Do sit-ups. Walk for 10 minutes after every meal. Vacuum every day. Join a once-a-week exercise class.

    Move more. Eat less.

    Good luck. See you around!
