TDEE = 2541
BMR = 1644
Net calories on MFP = 1644
Goal = 1480
Activity level = active
lbs to lose = 1.5

Do I need to make sure my net calories are 1644 and no higher? Is my goal to low (1480)

    I would be eating at LEAST bmr. Technically you could eat up to about 2000 (tdee-20%) and still lose weight

    So my goal is 1480. With food minus exercise shiukd my net calories be 1480 or 1644? I'm confused with goal and net calories. On the goal profile I put 1644

    the sweet spot is somewhere in between BMR and TDEE. Just eat somewhere in between there everyday; doesn't have to be exact.

    you could also look up the TDEE of your goal weight and just eat that (exercise would be included--it's TDEE).

    That way you will gradually lose until you reach and maintain at goal.

    Thank yiu

    I will stick to 1644 and aim for that as my net goal on MFP. Food in, exercise out etc..

    I think its really the MFP app that's confusing rather than how many calories I need.
