So tomorrow I will start my first day of Insanity, I received it for a gift for xmas. Well tomorrow is the big day I open it up and pour my heart and soul into it tomorrow. I'm really going to try and stick with this, Also I'm going to try as clean as possible. we will see how that will work. Also I'm determine to run so i downloaded an app to my phone to couch to 5k. Dam it I want my body back. I'm so looking forward to this week. I even through out all junk food and went food shopping for clean and healthy food. We will see how this goes. It takes 21 days to break a habit so lets try to break this unhealthy unmotivated person, I all ready signed up for my first 5k in July with some friends so I know I will have to stay on track. This was one of my new years goals is to run in a 5k. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. Wish me luck on my new journey. I know it will be a tough ride but it will be worth it in the end. I hope I will like the person in the end when this is all over with, people say that you will become a new person when you lose the weight I hope I like the person that is looking back at me when I finish and reach my goal.

All ittakes is that first step! Congrats on starting and best of luck! I started out with jogging until I thought I wld puke... just a few minutes' worth. I am now up to three miles at a time. If I can do it! I KNOW you can! Keep us posted on your journey!

There is no TRY, there is only DO. You can and will DO this! Have fun and let us all know how it went when you get to the end! Beware: fitness can be addictive. :drinker:

P.S. Signing up for a race is a smart idea. It keeps you motivated and gives you a goal to work for. You gave yourself more than enough time to train, so I think you should be beyond ready by July...maybe a 10k instead?

Just finished week three of Insanity!! Feel free to add me. I try and log everyday and comment on peoples statuses and progress. Also, feel free to take a look at my diary. I eat relatively clean and when I don't it doesn't take me too much over my calories set. I'm using the 20% deficit of my TDEE method so I don't log exercise.
