Is there a difference in Chili Powder and Ancho Chili Powder? Is Ancho CP spicier?

Ancho is the type of chili pepper used to make the powder. I think they are just dried poblano peppers. I don't find ancho chili powder to be a very spicy chili powder, more like mild or medium depending on your taste. I think what sets it apart from the basic chili powder is that ancho has a nice smokiness to it. Certainly adds a nice flavor without a bunch of extra calories!
