mashed potatoes

OK, so Betty Crocker I am not. How do I figure out the nutritional info for mashed potatoes? Do I just write the ingredients separate and total together and figure out how many servings there are and divide? I don't remember how many potatoes I peeled..
OR... am I making this more difficult than it needs to be?

I made mashed potatoes last night with just potatoes, skim milk, salt, and pepper. I just typed "mashed potatoes made with skim milk" and it came up with something. I just measured out 1 cup and figured it was close.0

Under your food tab is a recipe tab. Just plug in all the ingredients, decide on the # of servings it is going to make and it will tell you the calories.0

If you don't know the amount of potato you started with, I would just weigh out your serving and log it as a boiled potato by It's weight. You can quick add some cals for the milk or log a 1/4 cup and whatever else you added to the pot. It won't be 100% accurate but it will be close enough. I am always nervous using other peoples recipes in the database because you can't see what was added. I guess it's a controt issue for me LOL0
