HELP NEEDED!!!!!!

I'm 18 years old and I've been trying to lose weight for about 6 months now. I've cut out junk food a year ago, I drink only water and watch my food intake very closely! I've done the 30 day shred once and now I'm more than halfway through Insanity. Last summer I was running almost every day and now I'm out for a walk a few times a week. Despite all of this I still have the exact same measurements as I had in October 2012! Tell me, how is this possible? I don't know what to do anymore, please help me!!!

sounds like your working out at a good rate. However if you want any advice you are really going to need to open up your food diary for othere to see on here. And giving your stats will likely be helpful as well.0

what height and weight are you? are you consuming enough protein? what calories do you have per day? what measurements are bothering you?0

Thank you both for being willing to help me! My food diary is now open for everyone to see. Or at least I hope I managed to changed the settings, so it should be.
I'm 58 kg/127-128 lbs and 168 cm/5'6", I think. The measurements that bother me the mosts are my tummy, which is 87 cm/34 inches, my hips 90 cm/35 inches and my upper thighs 55 cm/25 inches.
Like I said, I haven't changed a bit in six months although I'm trying the hardest I can! I try to eat around 1500 kcal a day, sometimes less and sometimes more, depending on how hard I've worked out. I mostly eat salad, chicken, eggs and vegetables but I also eat other kinds of meat and sometimes potatoes and rice.
If you have any idea of what I should do, please tell me here or add me as a friend!0 -
i'd say, you need to start doing weighted squats and lunges, and an ab work out, like planks and crunches a quick question: when you tense your stomach and prod it are the muscles tough? also check this
http://www.calculator.net/army-body-fat-calculator.html
you can find out what your body fat percentage is, this will tell you where you're at and where you need to be once calculated
it can be tough getting problem areas into shape and all they need is a bit of extra attention
also looks like you could do with upping your protein intake another 20g and maybe reducing carbs by 20g or 10 of fat and 10 of carbs0 -
Thank you for your advice, I will keep everything you said in mind and try to work on it! It feels like I have some muscles in mu stomach, there's just a lot of fat there as well, although I've tried and tried to get rid of it. But I'll keep on going, thanks again!0

You are at a good weight for your height...on the lower end of it by the sounds of it. If you aren't happy with the shape/look of your body switch to building muscle. So, eat at a slight surplus of calories and lift heavy weights while consuming more than enough protein. Don't focus on the scale, focus on your measurements instead.0

Thank you for your advice! I think I'll finish Insanity and then, as you said, switch to lifting weights. It seems like I could get much more out of that. Thanks again!0
