Been logging my world religiously for almost 1/2 year.. and show a 45# loss, and feel better. But when you want o lose more than 2x that and you hit that first REAL plateau, and then it lasts for more than 30 days the frustration and discouragement starts to kick in...
Been stuck here for almost a month... I'll gain 1, lose 2, lose 1, gain 2, lose 1, lose 1... then gain 2... keeping me at the 45# lost mark... I have tried fewer calories, and new and different cardio... more cardio, and more calories. Fewer carbs, and the same cardio... All to no avail... I can read here it happens a lot. Maybe even to EVERYONE at some point... But my patience and commitment to MFP is starting to wain... I guess at some level I am whining a bit and looking for a pick me up..
I have decided to try CrossFit and found a gym (box) with a good team of instructors to try to mix things up...
Thanks for listening.

Try to be patient, when you try something new like upping or lowering calories or changing up your workout you need to give it at least 4-6 weeks to take effect. While it can be extremely frustrating to have to wait that long, especially when you have experienced rapid weight loss it's just part of the journey. Know that even if you are not seeing results right now, you are become a healthier person and that is really the most important part. You have made incredible progress so far and you don't want to have put in all the hard work and time to give up now! Stay strong!!0
