Transitioning from 6-a day to IF

So... when I started I believed the hype around eating small meals. After I realized that the metabolic benefits were minimal, I continued to do it just because it seemed to help me manage hunger and cravings. But lately, I really feel a bit out of control, and the 6-meal-a-day method just isn't helping me manage anymore. I feel like IF might be a good way for me to rediscover my self-discipline.
But it is sooooooo hard. I hate feeling hungry and my body is used to eating every few hours. Does anyone have any tips on how to more smoothly transition from frequent meals to less frequent meals?

Well you're going from one extreme to another, of course the transition is going to be hard. I would slowly transition to less frequent meals until you can go a couple hours without eating food, then from there go a couple more hours and so forth until you're at whatever eating/fasting window you want to be in.0

Same advice from me on this one as well. Cut one meal at a time and as each one is cut out...try to schedule your meals to be spread out evenly through the day .0
