Hey everyone. My name is Jenn and I joined MFP about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I was only cutting back on food at first, now I am following a Weight Watchers point plan. I am eating so much better now. I do 2-4 miles a day on my treadmill and hubby has always had me on the weights. I am a 5'2" 34 year old woman who needs to drop (and keep off) about 40-45lbs. I used to be 220lbs back in 09, but lost a good amount of weight with food and work outs. My work outs also include light yoga. I am a rugged gal, so yoga was laughable at first. But I learned to love it. I went from 220, down to 178. Then, after watching my Step Dad die for months on end I stopped working out and I did not gain a pound after he passed. That whole Summer my farm and kids kept me at that weight. As soon as Winter hit, I packed on a good 20lbs. So.....I am a damn yo-yo. LOL. I have seen that many people on here have lots of friends for support. I think that friends may be the next step in my journey. The friends I see in everyday life are either fad dieting, drinking herbal things for weightloss, or do not need to drop any pounds. I think also, my husband being out of work and eating like a garbage disposal IS NOT HELPING!!!! All this yummy food that I really want is all around me. But none of it is good for the body. I also have a 16 year old boy who eats everything in sight! These are very hard issues to work around when trying to get, and stay fit. I have over come these issues, for the most part, for three weeks now. I have lost inches and pounds. Before I started keeping track on MFP I had already lost a few pounds. My total lost right now, is 13 lbs in almost one month. For anyone who my wants to friend me.......please keep in mind that I am a computer moron. LOL. Please be patient while I try to navigate around this site and make friends Jenn
