My protein is constantly low, and I struggle to find ways to get more of it into my diet. I do eat some meat, but I'm not a huge meat-eater. I'd love to hear any suggestions because I really need to get better about eating more of it.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Greek yogurt!!! Dannon Light & Fit Greek comes in many flavors. I even add it to my protein shake. The cherry with a chocolate protein shake is yummy.0

I get a lot of mine (besides meat) from greek yogurt, cottage cheese and eggs. I also have protein powder in vanilla and chocolate that I add to various things. The chocolate goes in my morning oatmeal, the vanilla gets added to the plain greek yogurt and then a slew of protein style recipes - brownies, muffins, granola bars, etc.0

Almonds, walnuts, greek yogurt0

I don't eat meat so I have had to find ways to get in enough protein. I use protein powder/protein bars when needed. I eat a lot of yogurts, cheese, nuts, legumes, beans, nut butters, etc.0

I don't eat meat and I manage to get all the protein I need very easily through protein shakes, nuts, eggs, and occasionally dairy products like yogurt and cottage cheese.0

Matt_Wild's table is pretty good. But I have a couple more sources I like - Canned Chicken in Water works really well in salads. I also like Quinoa - great protein source and good in salads or as a snack or as breakfast 'cereal' instead of oatmeal. Eggs are awesome. Greek Yogurt. Almonds are awesome source of protein and good fats. My go to snack. Tilipia is a reasonable costing fish - works great in salad, works great as a main dish - season it how ever you want. I have been craving rare beef slices lately. I don't eat beef mostly - taste wonky to me most of the time. But rare roast beef rolls ups with cheese are awesome.0

Eggs
Cottage Cheese
Yogurt (especially greek yogurt)
milk
whey protein powder is another option if you're really struggling.0 -
I've been vegetarian for almost 3 years and eat between 130-175g of protein a day. Feel free to add me or check out my diary for ideas.0

I have the same problem
So I eat egg whites, and I have a protein bar each day that are packed with 20grams of protein. I buy the Double chocolate ones and they aren't bad at all I like them a lot!0 -
I am a vegetarian and also don't get as much protein as I would like but am trying to up my intake. Some things to try are beans (I add them to almost everything), tofu (you can put it in smoothies or add it to your dinner.. It also makes a good replacement for ricotta in pasta dishes if you put it in the food processor like this recipe http://www.pbs.org/food/fresh-tastes/stuffed-shells/ ). Also, hard boiled eggs make a good snack, either the whole egg or just the white filled with hummus or on top of a salad. Also nuts and nut butters! Also protein powders and bars can help as supplements, protein powder is great mixed with Greek yogurt and doubles or triples the protein amount! Hope that helps!0
