Please help me!! In need of advice..

So I've been 'dieting' and exercising for a while now, eating about 1000 calories per day and exercising twice a week for half an hour. I've lost a stone and a half over 3 months which I'm happy with however I have lost ALOT of that weight off my boobs! I've gone from a 32D to a 32B!
Firstly, I know that I'm not eating enough calories but when I tried to eat more (about 1500) I gained weight on my stomach so I went back to 1000 in order to maintain my current weight.
I'm really upset because loads of people on here can eat 1,300 a day and loose weight but I don't seem to be able to:(
Any advice you have would be much appreciated and in terms of my boobs, do you think that they will get bigger again or keep shrinking?

You don't have much weight to lose. You really can't expect to lose much more than 1/2 of a pound per week. Breasts contain a lot of fat, so if that's your last remaining area of fat, it seems logical that you'd lose fat there. You have to lift heavy weights and build up your muscles underneith your breasts if you want them to possibly look a bit bigger again.
Is it possible when you ate more that it wasn't really fat you were gaining in your stomach, but water or just bloat from maybe an undiagnosed wheat or lactose allergy?
Without more details about your height/weight/BMR/TDEE, it'll be hard for people to give you advice. But unless you have a diagnosed thyroid problem or you're very, very short, 1000 calories for someone who's exercising simply is too little food. Losing weight is a physical and chemical process your body has to go thru. It takes vitamins and nutrients to make those chemical reactions take place. You have to eat (and probably exercise) to lose weight.0 -
Thank you for your advice! Yes it could have been that with my stomach I guess, my stats are- BMI: 18.2 Height: 5'9. You know what, it's not even that I want to loose weight anymore I'm just not happy with how squishy I am and how I store fat in the most awkward places!:(0

Sounds like you should lift weights in order to build your muscles back up. From what I've read on here, muscles need calories to build up (protein). So a lot of people eat more calories to "bulk" up and then lift weights to build their muscles.0

BMI 18.2? So, like 5'9" means 125 lbs? Is that right? Do you know your body fat%? Lift heavy weights if you're not happy with squishy parts. But if you're lifting weights you'll need to eat more, so you'll put on muscle. Track your body fat% instead of weight, that's my advice.0

You are at a fairly low BMI and you are complaining about being squishy. You definitely need to be eating more, and you know that. Now you need to actually pay attention to what you know.
As for feeling squishy, you're probably at a healthy weight, but your body fat percentage is probably still relatively high. My suggestion would be to start lifting weights, and not just a dvd with 5 lb weights, but progressively heavy weights.

I completely understand. I have lost almost 20 pounds and I have noticed that my boobs are paying the price. I decided that I need to actually work on getting my body in shape. I know I still need to loose weight but I need to work on the places that need to be toned so I know where I stand weight wise.0

Oh my goodness thank you so much! Auddii your probably totally right, I know that my body fat percentage is high because you can grab inches on the front of my stomach and on my thighs:( What I want is to be toned and build muscle and if that means that I can eat more too then that'd be perfect! I have weights I could use for my arms but in terms of other places like stomach, won't crunches just push my fat out not replace it?

Yes as of last week I was 125, I don't want to weigh myself too often or it can become obsessive x0

Building muscle can increase your metabolism (yea! you'd get to eat more food), and so even though your muscles may be bigger, they would help burn more fat. But, in order to increase your muscle, you'd need to eat at a surplus (eat more calories than you burn). When bulking, you will gain both muscle and fat, so many people will do bulk and cut cycles. That seems complicated and scary to a lot of people, so instead they try to do body recompositioning. Basically, you try to eat right around your maintenance calories and lift heavy. The hope is that you will very slowly gain muscle, and lose fat (slowly). It's what a lot of people incorrectly refer to as "conversion of fat to muscle". It's not a fast process (may take a few years).
Also, I'd look at compound exercises to increase the outcome and decrease the effort. You mention that you have weights for your arms, but they may not be enough. If you don't have supplies and don't belong to a gym, you could always try body weight exercises. But, to increase muscle, you're going to need to make it progressively harder. Do pushups, when you can do those relatively easily, elevate your feet, add a clap, do them one handed, etc. There are a ton of different exercises you can do from home, and you can find all kinds by googling body weight exercises.0
