What do you do when you're sick?

Felt sick yesterday, went to bed early, woke up still feeling yucky. All I've eaten so far is some tea, brown rice and chicken broth. Hoping to talk Mom out of forcing me to go to the gym later. But what do you guys do when you can't even seem to hold down enough food to even reach your bmr?
Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Rest, relax, take care of yourself. Listen to your body and don't worry about calories...just for now.0

this. When I get a cold I aways crave savory food and orange juice and will do everything I can to get this otherwise I will throw my toys in the most dramatic manner. Savory food of choice is a sausage roll.0 -
i usualy just eat what ever my body allows whenever im hungry when im real sick, a day or two isnt gonna do much if any damage0

REST! Lots of water and eat whatever you can but don't stress if you can't.0

My trainer says if it's a head cold then keep eating and workout, if it's in the chest or the tummy, just make sure you try and drink as much as you can and rest until you're better.
Hate you're yucky, feel better soon!0 -
Enjoy a few comfort foods here and there if I'm so inclined, but otherwise, try to stick to healthy eating. Still drink tons of water.0

This is such good advice!0 -
Rest and plenty of fluids. Don't worry about what you're eating until you feel better.0

Rest, sleep, nap, and let my body heal.0

If I'm truly sick, and not just with a little cold (like I'm puking, can't get up, or have no appetite at all), I rest. It takes a lot of energy to fight of infections, and your body uses rest as a chance to catch up with that process. Food isn't necessarily as important as fluids, so as long as you're staying hydrated, don't worry about the food part of it.0

Rest. Don't worry about eating too little or too much until you're over it.0

I whine a lot.
Do not go to the gym. Especially if you're puking. That's not smart on your behalf and it's also not courteous to the other gym members who you may be infecting with your sickness.
You should rest, relax, and not worry about calories or gym time or fitness or any of that stuff, it will all be here when you are feeling better and at that point you can resume your life.0
