2010...I bet the pizza was good back then, too.

If it was made with twinkies. It would still be good today.

    Twinkie pizza....

It's not bad! It's calories/fat/protien/salt etc. just like any other food.

Does it provide the best overall nutrients for your body? Probably not, and I wouldn't recommend eating it EVERY day exclusively, but otherwise...why not?

    This

Edit: Just realized this was from 2010... lol... was wondering about that last post...

Since starting to lose weight, I've never eaten 5 pieces of pizza at a time.

Usually it's more like 7-8 pieces.

I eat Pizza about twice a month. As long as you fit in your meal planning, there shouldn't be a problem. In fact, I had Digornio Pizza for lunch today.

Rosati's pizza makes really good pizza but while eating it, with salad, in slice allotments over a week, I lost no weight. No more pizza for me, unless it's a special occasion.

It's only bad if the crust is made of cauliflower.

Pizza is a food that just seems to pack on the pounds when I eat it. I generally avoid it, but when the entire family gets together at someone else's home and pizza is served, it's eat some pizza or go hungry.

Had such a gathering last Sunday night (helping the grand-daughter make cookies/cupcakes to leave out for Santa) and I had 3 pieces of pizza. Was up a few pounds the next morning. (and didn't even have any of the baked goodies) My overall calories for the day were OK (I ate sparingly earlier in the day to try to compensate) but I think all the heavy carbs in the crust all at once did me in.

I think you should double check those calories. I took a look and it seems that the calories are more like 210 to 280 a slice.

If that's correct than 5 slices gives you over 1200 calories. Just a suggestion....

Cheat days are awesome.... I like to have one every couple of weeks, or at least once a month. Fun to look forward to, and since it's not very often, super enjoyable. Typically there's water retention and bloating the next day, but you're not going to gain weight from eating too many calories for just one day.
