Discouragement and demotivation in 3...2...1

I admit I am not very good at logging all my activities but I do try. Regardless of entries or not I should see some results. The blasted scale will not move in my favor. However, I have noticed my clothes are more roomy but...

Is it progress or am I so massive I have overstretched my clothes? I don't won't to delude myself. I understand that strength training can add weight because muscle is heavier than fat but at some point that scale has to start reading in my favor.

I am trying to do better and I admit sometimes I do fall off the wagon but I get right back on. I am not entirely sure why I am looking for support because this should be somethig I could handle simply because it is something I truly want to do for myself. I am NOT doing this for romance, health, and not even for status quo. I am a lost sheep and I do not wish to stumble into the wolf's den.
However, this scale is becoming such a demotivator and discouragement is rapidly sinking in. I am not sure how much longer I can on.
Thank you all for letting me vent.

You can use a tape measure.

Put the scale away for a month, continue to eat to your calories and exercise, and use how your clothes fit more as your guide. There are lots of variables that affect weight so don't let the scale sabotage your efforts.

Not a sheep. And sometimes we can't make it on our own. That's okay.

I'm a big believer in the power of the share. Just writing it out and putting it out there. I know you're feeling pretty down right now, but doing this was a great step in the right direction. You know what you need to do, sometimes writing it out is what convinces us we can do it.

I agree with putting the scale away for a period of time. Nobody knows your body like you do so I suspect you know that things are improving even if the scale doesnt reflect it. Maybe focus a bit more on some cardio instead of so much weight training? I dont know your routine so you might be fine - just a suggestion. The key is this is for you and sometimes it helps to have folks give you a helping hand and Venting is a good thing. Helps keep the blood pressue down!
