I don't know if you've seen greek yogurt in the grocery store, but it seems to be the new biggest thing. Throw away yoplait and dannon yogurt, which has corn syrup in it and go for some healthy, natural greek yogurt, which is HIGH in protein!!! It's great!! If you haven't tried it, I definitely recommend it. I love the Chobani vanilla and Brown Cow kind. Keeps me full and tastes DELICIOUS!!

I am hearing great things about Greek yogurt and am dying to try it. Anyone from Canada on here and know if it is available? I haven't seen it in any of the grocry stores in Southern Ontario - but maybe I just don't kjnow what I am looking for.0

If you have a Planet Organic near you they may have the Liberte brand of Greek Yogurt which is totally awesome!! I think Olympic has Greek Yogurt too. Those are the only two I have seen in Canada so far:)0

When I moved to USA it was an only yogurt which tastes like real yogurt for me:laugh: Others are too sweet!0

I don't know about being "all-natural," but most of the major yogurt brands are now making Greek style yogurt. I've been getting Dannon at Walmart for $1. It tastes amazing and is zero percent fat. The blueberry is so good.0

The best brand I've found is Fage (pronounced "Fayeh"). It is so thick, your spoon will stand up in it and never fall down. And the protein count in it is great. I've tried other brands and they just don't taste good to me and none of them are as thick as Fage. I don't think Dannon or Yoplait can do it justice.
Fage yogurt is a staple for me about once a day for a mid afternoon snack.0 -
I adore Greek yogurt but it is so expensive but worth the splurge now that I cut out ice cream, etc.
I think this reduces the protein and some of the b-vitamins, but draining the whey off a good natural yogurt will yield thick yogurty goodness. Great for dips and spreads!0 -
Don't know where you are from but if you have a SPROUTS Farmers Market near you, they have the BEST Tzatziki Sauce (which is made with Greek Yogurt). I put it on salad or use it to dip veggies - 20 Cals per 2Tbls. IF you can't buy it you can make it:
Greek Yogurt
Diced Cucumber (tiny)
Minced Garlic
Dill
Lemon Juice
Make it the consistency of Ranch Dressing - YUM0 -
I just had Greek Yogurt today as a snack for the first time. The brand was Yoplait and I got it at Walmart. I got the plain flavor and bought some granola and put that in there and it was wonderful. I am used to the flavored yogurt and was surprised that I did like the plain yogurt. Will be a very easy transition!0

I get my Greek Yogurt at Trader Joe's. It's cheaper and less calories but just as high in protein! I love it! I eat it after workouts! We also use the plain in place of sour cream! I've been hooked for a few months! (I've been out all week and need to run by Trader Joe's to grab some!) I also like the Fage brand as well.0

Fage is HEAVENLY. For the last week or two I've been having the 2% with fruit and a bit of honey for breakfast.0 -

i can't seem to find it in my grocery store.
what brand is it?
It's in the aisle where they sell the organic and soy foods. It's not near the regular yogurts, at least at my grocery store.0 -

The Liberte brand is fantastic! Watch out for the sugar and fat content. I have seen it at most major grocery stores, i.e. Loblaws, etc.0
