How did you lose your first 5 lbs?

I thought this might be helpful for folks just starting who need ideas on how to lose the first 5. We all have different, equally valid methods and maybe you can help motivate someone.
For me, honestly, I lost the first 5 via Weight Watchers, but it was sloooooooow.

Just watching what I eat for about a month helped me loose 5+ lbs. Once I knew how much food I was shoveling in my mouth I started to not do that so much anymore. :happy:0
