Im 16 years old
Starting weight 227
Current: 178
So I really want to start lifting at the gym instead of just doing cardio but I have no idea how to do anything or start. I want to continue to lose fat but I also want to gain muscle. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks so much in advance.

Adding strength training would be a great idea. Read as much as you can on it. Bodybuilding.com does have a female training section on the forum so you could get some good info.0
