Need Help...

Hi everyone,
I am reaching out to my MFP family to see if anyone can help me.
I bought a new Norditrack treadmill earlier this year and it's iFit compatible. iFit is a wireless adapter that allows you to insert it into the treadmill and map a route and the treadmill will do the elevations, etc for you. it also allows you to run anywhere in the world and run any race in the world all from your own treadmill.
I have been trying for over a week to get the initial set up done. It is in the final step of testing the wireless connection and it comes up failed giving 4 reasons: 1) DHCP - make sure that your router has DHCP enabled -- it is; 2) SSID - The iFit Live Module can only connect to SSID's that are publicly broadcast, make sure that your router is broadcasting its SSID -- it is;
3) . MAC Address Filtering - Some routers only allow certain MAC addresses to connect to them. This is common with routers that are configured by your ISP (Qwest, Comcast, Verizon). - not applicable as I have a PC; and finally what I believe is the issue # 4) 802.11 B - The iFit Live Module only broadcasts on 802.11 B signal, make sure that your router is broadcasting either mixed mode that includes B or just B.
My router is under the N signal (the newer/faster version) B apparently is really slow so I do not wish to change my signal from N to B. Everything else that works off the wireless in my home works perfectly, but I can't get this iFIT set up. And yes, I have called iFit and they were no help whatsoever.
Has anyone else had this issue and found a way around it?

Not Sure if this helps, but I have Comcast and there was a setting under the gateway
Gateway > Connection > Wireless > Edit 2.4 GHz
That allowed me to modify the MODE: to 802.1 b/g/n it was g/n.
I looked for a while before, I found this so hope that you can too. I reset the module to factory settings before I got to add it to the wifi as the old config was "Stuck" on the device0
