Help with protein

Hello everyone. What kind of foods do you eat for protein? My dilemma is that I do not like meat. I like bacon & ham & chicken is okay. But that it is it & even that is pushing it because I can only eat very small portions before it starts tasting gross to me. Cottage cheese gets old sometimes & I need some new ideas. Any suggestions would be so helpful & much appreciated. Thank you!

Fage plain yogurt - 18 grams in a single serving cup (6 oz. I think)

    Eggs

Beans and legumes...I make a veggie "meat"ball that packs 5 grams of protein per ball. Recipe link:

I also make a chia seed pudding that has 9 grams of protein per serving that I base on this recipe:

I am not vegetarian but I don't eat a ton of meat. My diary is open, though I am maintaining and don't log weekends.

I don't eat meat, I get my protein from:

    whey
    milk
    cheese
    cottage cheese
    greek yoghurt
    eggs / egg whites
    pumpkin seeds / nuts
    protein bars
    tofu
    seitan
    lentils/pulses
    soy 'meat' products
    soya beans

And usually get around 150 g per day.

4 scoops of gold standard whey is 96g protein. Usually do that before bed if I feel like it.
  • I have a Zeal protein shake....I've tried the walmart protein powder stuff...I couldn't handle the taste. I don't like to eat a lof of meat either, and if I do it has to be small pieces not huge chunks...I have found that the zeal tastes way better and does more for me. Hope that helps
