weigh ins and water weight

So when you know you are retaining water (from too much sodium and DOMS) and you have a weigh in/measure in, do you skip that week, record it as normal, or wait a few days?

I weigh because I feel that I am cheating myself if I don't. Sure the scale may show a gain but you won't lose every week so I think it's important to track all the different weights. I don't see the point in skipping the weigh in... I always weigh on the same day, same time and record the number regardless.0

I weigh myself and take note of the weight, but if I know for a fact its from water weight, I give myself a few days from actually writing down my weight.0
