Mirror Mirror on the Wall...

Most of the days I look in the mirror and think to myself.. "really, guy? Really?!" I'm disgusted with myself. Unhappy how I look. It's never good enough and never will be. The demons from my past experiences coming back to haunt me in my present. Then, I have a friend that comes along my side today and says.. "for you..." meaning I have to do it for myself and everyday, no matter what my emotion.. look back at that guy and say.. "you're awesome, you rock, you're handsome, etc." And continue to say it... until... until the demons of the past are silenced and the positivity of the present takes over. I hope for all of you that are seeking to know yourselves better and know that person in the mirror as "different than what you used to be.." that you find that and accomplish your goals.... weight loss, fitness, overall health, etc. Just felt like sharing. Have a great day.

You're 9lbs closer to your goal....remember that. Also the only person in this world that nees to truly accept you is you. You need to feel good about yourself first. I'm the same way. I need to get my self confidence back up. We will both get to the point where we look in the mirror and say "hot damn!" :)

We all feel like that at times. You've lost 9 pounds and that is something to be proud of. You sound like a wonderful person so lets start to get that confidence up

Nice post!!! I am starting to feel the power of positivity!!! Positivity = happiness, and happiness = as good as life can get!!

I also second the idea of loving yourself and praising yourself because it does work! I used to hate myself to no end (and still do) but I'm getting better because everyday I tell myself positive things etc!! I used to think the whole idea of praising oneself is stupid and useless but I'm finally trying it and it does help!!
