last night i was feeling really sorry for myself. i haven't lost any weight (or maybe 1 lb) since november. i told myself i need to get a grip, follow my plan, and be patient.

today i had meetings basically back to back. i wasn't sure when i was going to be able to eat lunch, so i grabbed a granola bar before i even went to my meeting. managed to eat that during my actual "lunch" time. but then i was stuck in an office with a bowl of dark chocolate in front of me. mmm. so.....

i ate one. just one. i started to open another but i stopped. i actually stopped myself at one. suddenly resisting the cookie that was presented to me later didn't seem so tough.

it's just one time, but i feel better already.

Nice NSV. The hardest times are when we are by ourselves and being tempted.
