I have an unlimited dining plan at school and have been eating almost all of my meals at the cafeteria. They have a salad bar and soup almost all day, but typically the other options aren't as good for you. I know I can customize what they plate for me (chicken from one line, rice from another, vegetables at the salad bar) at lunch or dinner. What about breakfast? We get yogurt every day, cereal, scrambled eggs, pancakes/wafflles/french toast, and omelettes. Typical breakfast foods.

Any ideas for what I can eat at breakfast and still be "good"? Or what types of things to look for at lunch/dinner time??

Thanks guys!

    Wow that must be tempting!

Great breakfast foods can be things like:

Scrambled egg on wholemeal toast, maybe with grilled tomatos
    Yoghurt and fruit
An omlette and some fruit and a yoghurt.
Porridge/Oatmeal (you can always add fresh fruit to it instead of syrup and its great)

Ideal calories for breakfast that I aim for are 400 cals. Give me enough energy to keep going til lunch...and if you don't think you'll make it til lunch, grab a piece of fruit to take with you!
