Hello,
I'm new to this so I'm sorry if this sounds crazy.
My daily goals include 1350 calories, 255 carbs, 61 protein. I am generally fine on the calories, but I seem to go over on the protein and under on the carbs. Should I be concerned about this? If so, what can I eat to boost the carbs without increasing fat (which I'm fine on) or calories?
Thanks!

No, you do not need to worry about it. It's fine to go over on protein, particularly since you are using MFP's default percentages. There are lots of us who eat two or three times that much protein.

I make it a point to go over on protein and fiber. No worries.

Is there a way to edit these? Should I be eating more?

Yes, you can edit them if you update your goals using "custom" instead of "guided." I have better success with fat loss and muscle mass retention with the ratio 40/35/25 (protein/carb/fat), but that wouldn't work for everyone else out there. Just play around with what you prefer, what you see success on, etc. and set your goals accordiningly. Do a search for recommended macro goals and you will see a lot of conflicting advice, lol. But I think the general consensus on here would be that MFP defaults to waaaaay too many carbs and not enough protein.

Thanks! I've changed it to 40/40/20 based on what I've read online and I'll keep an eye on it to see what helps.

    Much appreciated!
