I am being told that i am fat after losing 37 pounds in over a year. Since then, my weight has gone up but only by a few pounds.
I would like to add some motivational people to my friends list. I get lonely working out by myself, and i am so sick of eating salad.
But since I eat sunday dinner at moms i have to eat what she cooks. The problem is this, I eat breakfast at 8 am on sundays. She does not serve dinner until 5 pm. I can't go all day without food, but she doesn't make lunch.
How can i convince her that i need a snack or lunch before dinner? She has stated several times that she does not care about my health. Her house is also full of junk food.
Sorry if this seems like i'm rambling, I'm confused.

Well first I would like to say congrats on the 37 lbs.
Salad is not the only thing to eat. You can eat ANYTHING...In moderation. Some things may surprise you and even be better calorie/macro wise then the salad.
Perhaps bring your own healthy snack to your moms on Sundays? I am not sure why you would need to convince her of such. I mean if her house is full of junk food that implies there are things to snack on during the day while waiting for dinner. So instead of that junk food, your own healthy foods. Make sure they are something filling so you are not tempted by the things that are there.
Maybe make sure you do a little extra exercise on Sundays since you are aware of how she feels and cooks. Maybe also be sure Saturday Sunday, and Monday are all workout/gym/exercise days to help you mentally offset the food intake on Sundays??
Hope this helps you.0 -
Congratulations on your weight loss so far. Don't ever listen to other people's opinions about your looks. Stay focused on getting even healthier and continuing on your weight loss.
I am sorry that your mom isn't supportive as she could be. It sounds like you sure need a lot of it from people on here. You can add me if you would like.
I would have to agree with the above poster about bringing a healthy snack to your mom's house and eating in moderation. If you eat a few small calorie meals on Sunday and leave yourself quite a bit for supper, you should be good. You have come a long way and you should be so darn proud of yourself.
Good luck! Keep in touch.0
