I just finished reading this

And I think it kinda opened my eyes to the reality. I've been saying I want to do this and make a lifestyle change not a temporary get where I wanna be change. I've been aiming for 1200-1300 calories a day. If I'm honest with myself, I know I can't stick with that forever. Maybe some people can...not me. I got so close to my goal weight a couple years ago with 1100-1200 calories a day. Now I'm right back where I started with 50lbs to lose. So I obviously need to do something differently. I'm going to do this. And I just wanted to thank the guy who took the time to write this post.
