help with my FITBIT

so... i just got a fitbit and I'm a little confused.

do i wear it while I'm exercising? i like to log my exercise on MFP so that i can keep track of what I've done, so if i log on there with the calories burned as well as wear my fitbit will i be getting double the amount of calories?

does anyone have any other tips or tricks for it?

    Check the above group out, I keep mine on for running walking but use hrm for spinning and weights.

    I only take my FitBit off to shower. If you log an exercise on MFP it will adjust the FitBit added calories w/the next sync. So you may have double calories for 15 minutes or so, but then you should be good to go!

    When you log it on mfp you enter time etc then fitbit and mfp "talk" to each other so you don't get double.

    Look at the blue help link at the top of the page and then look,at all the links about linking Fitbit to MFP. It should help you understand it better.
