I would eat more calories and strength train. Search "In Place of a Roadmap" on the forums and follow that guideline for your calories. Steady state cardio is not an efficient weight loss technique IMO. Look into Stronglifts 5x5, and if you're going to do cardio switch it up and do shorter, intense interval training.

That goal does seem extreme. My main source of exercise is also an elliptical (at home). I try to do some strength training at home just more aimed at exercises that don't require too many weights as I only have one set of dumbbells and one kettle bell. I have been increasing my exercise for at least the past month and can just now hit 70 mins on the elliptical. After that long I'm drenched in sweat and exhausted, I can't imagine over 2 hours. I am closer to 235 and a woman but it set my goals like this:

    Nutritional Goals: Net Calories Consumed/Day = 1200
    Fitness Goals: 6 workouts/week with 45 mins/workout

Calories burned from normal Daily Activity = 2260/day
    Daily Calorie Goal: 1200/day
    Daily Calorie Deficit: 1060/day
    Projected Weight Loss: 2.1 lbs/week

You will need to change your expectations. While you might lose 2 a week in the beginning, it's likely your body will adjust and you'll lose a little slower after that initial period. Plus, there will be weeks where you lose 3 pounds and weeks where you don't lose even a single pound. So going at it expecting 2 pounds a week is a little unrealistic.

The body isn't linear, it doesn't work on a clock. It doesn't know the difference from one Sunday to the next. Calorie goal and exercise is about the weekly total numbers and pounds usually line up in the monthly manner.

Not to mention, that kind of workout for that much everyday might make you miserable. Burn out and giving up in frustration would be a concern. Slow and steady wins the race.
