This is going to sound weird (about AB ROLLERS)

Okay, so this morning as I was walking my dog past the dumpster in my apartment parking lot I noticed someone had thrown away an ab roller. (You know, like this: http://www.amazon.com/Cap-Barbell-Unisex-adult-Ab-Roller/dp/B005Y1PABY) There was a mattress and a box spring there too, and the ab roller was just laying on top - obviously someone moving or just too lazy to donate it. So yeah, I took it.
But I think I heard somewhere one time that doing crunches with an ab roller isn't great? Something about the form? Bad for the back? Help. It was free so it won't be a total loss if everyone screams at me not to use it (after some extensive Lysoling). Just thought I'd see what people had to say.

I got mine back out the other day and used it. After a day or two, I was seeing some definition I did not have before. If it hurts, then obviously, you should stop. There are videos on youtube for how to use it correctly (I just looked them up for myself before searching threads here). I learned to watch my form, and will continue to use mine. I roll out straight for 12, then to the left for twelve, then to the right for twelve, and I'm finished. It's a quick ab workout when you don't have time for a lot that day.0

I used to have one and the gym I used to go to had one too and I liked it. It was definitely hard to use for sure.
Now you just made me want to go buy another one LOL!0
