Okay, I've got about 900 calories to play with right now. I'm thinking I'll spice it up for dinner tonight. =)
I am a beginning cook, but I'd love some dinner ideas for tonight. Could you help me out?

Haha, thanks in advance.

I like to use allrecipes.com for some ideas. They have a wide variety of everything possible. I usually put whatever ingredients I have available in my fridge in the search box and see what it comes up with.

Hope that helps and good luck with dinner.

Okie dokey- here is an easy and pretty dinner.

If you like bell peppers, buy 1 for each person who will be at your table.
Cut off the top of the pepper and chop that part up into bits.
clean out the bell pepper and this will be your container...

Cook the bell pepper in water for about 8 minutes or so. You want it to just get a little soft.

In a frying pan, flash saute the chopped pepper, 1/2 an onion, tomatoes. whatever you want.
    Set that aside.
Cook a little rice... brown is healthier.
While the rice is cooking- cook up some ground turkey, or ground bison, or shrimp or hamburger.
(hamburger is the worst calorie wise, but eh- whatever)

After you're done cooking the meat, add in the veggies and the rice.

Transfer the mix into the bell peppers.
Cover the pepper with parmesan cheese or something melty and wonderful.

Put the bell peppers into a pyrex dish and broil for 5 minutes or until all bubbly and swell.

    Yum. Enjoy.
