Protein/Carb/Fat Balance

I have read many places that protein and carbs should balance to 40% and 20% should be fat. FitnessPal says different.

What have people found to be a good balance for weight loss?

    For years I tried all the various macro balances based on others' recommendations of what they should be...the best thing to do is to experiment on yourself and figure out what works best for your body type. Some people, like me, NEED carbs and others could live without them. Good luck.
