BMR calories

Ok so I don't know if this is rediculous or not but... My BMR is 1473 calories. Do I get to add that to my diary? And if so, how? I added it to excercises, but it kinda feels like cheating! Does anybody else add that to their diary? Because 1200 calories a day is about impossible to do.
So let's say I eat 1300 calories today. 1473 would technically be "burning more calories than I consume" so does that count? Or should I forget the whole BMR thing and suck it up and just do the calories from eating and excercising?

Change your goals to maintenance .. anything less than that will help you lose weight. As you change it, it will say how much weight you might expect to lose a week if you stick to that amount.0
