hey all, I am recently back to working out after a lengthy time off. I have been going back to the gym now for nearly three months, and am feeling much better than when I initially resumed working out. The first month I basically took my time and got to know the equipment at the new gym, found a time of day to work out that wasn't stupid busy, and went about my business of trying to get back to previous levels of fitness. I started out getting back to old routines and split days like I used to do. After about three weeks, of getting my body used to being in the gym again ( I was pretty frickin sore the first few days!) I have decided to use the 300 workout to try and push my body in a different way than I have before, and really focus on improving myself a little each workout. I have a couple goals to hit through using this workout, with the main one being able to do 10-15 full on chin ups. right now I use an assist machine to do my chins and do some negatives at the end. Other than the assist for the chinups, I can perform all the elements with required weight, although I haven't yet done any exercise to completion in a single set. (that's another one of my goals, particularly the push ups)
My question is this: does anyone do this workout, even as a fitness gauntlet to test yourself? and have you noticed any positive change because of it. I have been doing this workout for three weeks so far, and will post some pics at the end of my 12 week program to see if there are any significant body changes. my best time so far is 47 minutes on monday of this week!
