Over 40 & taking care of yourself?

Hey everyone!! I want to interact with other people over 40 who don't think that life is friggin over or that we are "old". Sheesh. I went to my 20 year class reunion and could not believe all the people who just totally let themselves go and think that 40 is half way to dead. That's totally not my attitude! I have just as much energy and I am just as healthy (minus the baby weight lol) as I was in my 20's and I want to keep it that way! If you are positive, and are working toward fit and healthy - friend me!!

I'm 46 and have more of a life now than I did 10 years ago. I still set up monthly happy hours (not good for the waistline) and I feel like I'm still in my 20's, or maybe early 30's. 40, 50 and 60 are the new 30!

  • I'll be 40 in September. I'm having a big party, 40 doesn't bother me. I still feel as young as I did when I was in my 20's.

I turned 40 this year just as I finally returned to my high school weight and I can't wait to see what life has in store for me next! I refuse to give up on life just because I'm no longer in my 30's.

I will be 42 in a couple of weeks, and I have to say (despite having two very young kids who don't stop from morning till night), I am in the best shape physically and mentally in my life.

I love 40's (turning 41 in May) and have embrased them full swing. They are all about me! I have transformed my life and body into something that makes me happy! My life may be almost half over but I'm living and loving every second of it. Life is to short to give up on it half way through! There is so much more to look forward to...

    LOL.

    Truth: 40 is not dead.

Truth: It may be that it has taken some this long to feel the effects of being out of shape and/or of poor eating habits.

Truth:There are truly OLD people running marathons!

Give 'em this link: www.c25k.com and tell them it's time to start training! ;-P
