Real Foods
Chicken/turkey/lean beef roasts/some pork (LOVE to throw it in the crockpot and eat it that way or make something out of it)
Fish (Salmon, Halibut, Talapia, whatever is on special that day)
Bacon
Eggs
Cheeses (Hard/Aged/Sharp to add flavor with just a slice)
String cheese for snacking
Mixed greens for salads
Almonds (I prefer Emerald Cocoa Dusted Almonds, yum!!!)
Almond Butter (natural to avoid hydrogenated oils)
Sugar free syrups for my coffee (Torani and Starbucks ones are my fav)
COFFEE
Teas (boxes of bagged tea, not the gallons of fake sweetened teas)
Unsweetened Almond Milk (Low calorie, naturally low fat, and creamy)
Fruit (BERRIES!! lowest sugar and best antioxidants)
Greek Yogurt (REAL greek yogurt like Fage and Oikos, then add your berries yourself to sweeten)
Cottage Cheese
Cauliflower & Brocoli (I use cauliflower in place of white potatoes a lot)0 -

whatever's on sale--a few weeks ago I scored 14 pounds of pork at 97 cents a pound, bagged it, and chucked it into the freezer. Still a lot left.0 -
