Okay low carb dieters do you miss fried chicken? Well I have an awesome breading recipe for you!

You will need:
1 cup of Davids shellless sunflower seeds
2-4 Table spoons of Wheat germ
1 egg
olive oil
Either a chicken breast or lean cut pork chop.
You favorite spices *Try to keep the salt intake low:wink:
freezer baggies. or sandwich whatever.

What to do.
Heat a frying pan 1/3 full of olive oil-* low heat
1. Take the sunflower seeds and put them in a baggy and crush them. *I usually use a hammer*
- or you can put them in a blender for a few seconds. *Be careful with this if they are in there too long they get moist.
2. After seeds are crushed add the wheat germ and spices. dump it on a plate or leave it in the bag.Set aside
3. Put the egg in a bowl whipped
4 Take your selected meat and dip it into the egg.
5.Then put the meat into the "breading" either on the plate or in the baggy. cover completely with "breading"
6. Put in the frying pan.* Watch carefully the sunflower seeds like to burn, thats why I use a low heat.
7. Once center in cooked completely set on plate wait to cool.
8. Enjoy!

Should "bread 3-4 pieces depending on the size.
For all of breading 8-10 carbs. *you don't even have to put the wheat germ in, it would be about 4 carbs if you don't add wheat germ.
I hope this helps some of you. I love this especially on pork chops!
