SOOOOOO.... What do I do now?!

Okay... All cards on the table: I want a swimsuit body by swimsuit season (shallow... but real... so whatevs).

My obstacles:

- Lack of knowledge: Squats... wth are there so many different kinds? What kind is most effective? That's just one of the MANY confusing parts about weight training for me.

- Lack of time: I have two mini-me's... One of which being 6 months old. I work full-time. And I guess I have to be a significant other as well (sometimes) lol.

- LOVE of food: I LOVE to eat and could ALWAYS have more. What's the type of stuff to fill me up MOST of the day?

So far, I have a wonderful personal trainer friend who is just starting out in the personal trainer world who gives me WONDERFUL food and exercise advice... But I try to let her do her own thing cause I'm not paying her. I generally follow an IIFYM approach to this "diet" thing but I eat more on the healthful side (according to me : )... but my diary is open so you be the judge). I do cardio and strength training. I've lost 18lbs since January 2013 so I'm on the right track but want to avoid a plateau as I feel myself getting a bit bored.

I don't have time to really experiment or always research. I guess basically what I'm asking is... what has worked for YOU? And any suggestions or insights would be much appreciated!!

Thanks in advance!

When you get bored, change things up. There ARE a lot of different types of squats. Learn them. Change them up when you get bored. Changing both your food and your workouts can help keep you from hitting a plateau. Personally, I've just gone gluten free to be supportive of a friend and that knocked through my last month long plateau like BAM!

    Good luck!

I'd say the thirty day shred would be good if you don't have time to get out and about, its short and I sometimes do it while the baba is sleeping. and its free on youtube.

Thanks guys... @Elizabeth is the gluten free diet safe for people with no intolerance to gluten? How convenient is it? How expensive is it?

@dillydally Sounds like a great idea... Any home equipment I should look into for it?

all you need for 30 day shred is a pair of handweights. clean milk jugs with some water work in a pinch. 1 gallon = 8 pounds.
