Sudafed and working out?

This time of the year I need to take my allergy pills with sudafed in them. I know for me when I take sudafed it elevates my heart rate. My question is how does that effect the accuracy of my HRM and the amount of calories burned? I know I don't have to work as hard to get my heart rate to a good cardio rate. Thanks in advance for any ideas.
