Time of the Month....total disaster today!

Wow.....what haven't i eaten today?
I've eaten Sweets (candy), drank Fizzy drinks, peanut butter straight from the jar on a spoon, chocolate - the works!
Needless to say i am not logging anything today. (as well as my breakfast, lunch and dinner obvs) :/
How do you other ladies cope when it;'s your time of the month.

what healthy foods do you eat? I need help! LOL

    I just do the best I can and then just wait out the storm :laugh: :sad: :noway: :explode: :wink: :cry: :huh:
    Well, that and exercise to earn extra calories to cover my *kitten*.

    Ugh this is such a pain isn't it...
    I usually get insane cravings 1-2 days before my period arrives, and my period is often late, so sometimes the 1-2 days lasts longer. The cravings are unbearable! I usually have a lot of difficulty controlling myself at this point, but I guess what I should do is load up on vegetable soup or something while I can so I'm too stuffed with liquid to fill in - as much - food and chocolate as I'd have wanted. I should also work my @$$ off when the storm hits to atleast bring down the net calorie count of the day.

    ha. notice the marshmallows with chocolate syrup on them I had a few days ago?? LOL. Although During.. I don't want anything.. ti's teh day before/first day that kill me.. then during.. half the time I dont even want to eat, cause i feel so bloated. Which is the exact opposite of what used to happen (I used to morph into Scooby Doo) LOL

    Go to the gym and do an aerobics class a high intensity one!!
    Drink extra water (that usually makes me feel better anyway)
    I also have chocolate banana frozen protein yogurt in my freezer.. it's sorta like ice cream.. helps with the craving and its healthy.
    Don't have that stuff in your place.. if it's not there you can't eat it. and if you're like me.. i'm way to lazy to run to the store to pick it up. LOL

    Since I have changed to a simple fats, proteins, vegetables and fruits way of eating I get no cravings, less cramping, less bloating etc.

    I am so glad I don't have to worry about these things any longer.

    Log it, and give yourself the option of going to maintenance calories for a day or two. If you've got MFP set for a pound a week, that gives you 500 more calories a day without gaining anything--and if you know you've got those to work with, it's easier to keep some control and not go over by 1000. 500 calories is a lot of chocolate!
