Natural bodybuilder contest prep!

Hey guys I'm preparing for my first ever bodybuilding contest on April 13, 2013. I've been using MyFitnessPal for a while because, among bodybuilders, it's a staple for calorie and macronutrient tracking. I remember trying my first bulking phase, not knowing I should've been using a calorie/macronutrient tracker and, subsequently, not seeing any differences, aesthetically. My second time around I used MyFitnessPal to make sure I got my baseline protein, carbs, and fat intake. Now I'm using it while I prepare for my first show in 5 and a half weeks. I've been dieting for almost 13 weeks now and it's getting stricter and stricter. I'd love it if you guys want to know more about dieting and what works/what doesn't.... I'm not a nutrition expert, but I've losted 20 pounds of fat so far in the past 12 and a half weeks, so I'd love to give advice to anyone who wants some.

You should probably post your own question. People may not see this.
Also there is a group here that may have answers for you

Hey there. I thought I would actively engage in this discussion since I have finally made the leap from bodybuilder spectator to bodybuilder. I have a long way to go, but am pleased to be on this journey0

You may want to check out Vanessa Campbell, Stacey Alexander, and Nathalia Melo. These bikinni bodybuilders will probably have some training materials on their website. I myself am focused in figure bodybuilding. I follow Adela Garcia, Tanji Johnson and Monica Brant. I adore Ava Cowen.0

I competed in the late 80's and early 90's as a natural. And yes, to get to competitive conditioning level, there are extreme steps you need to take even though it lasts for only a day or so. I'll tell you that you should be READY by 2 weeks out. The last 2 weeks are just for "tweaking" anything. If you're still not shredded by 2 weeks out, you'll probably end up over exercising, over dieting then over carbing and "spill over" losing some definition.
Also make sure you have your color picked out correctly. Nothing worse than going out on stage and looking burnt orange.
