STARVING!!!

3am!!! Ive been awake with my baby since 1130... oh, he's been sleeping, but refuses to let me put him down! Ive been rocking so long that I'm getting dizzy (sea sick, I guess) and ive been awake so long that I'm starving!
Like if McD's was open right now, id go get a sausage biscuit and a couple hashbrowns! Ok, not really...but mostly because hubby is out of town for the night and took the car that has the carseat (darn 2 door Lexus wont fit the spare seat, at least not while we're rear facing)
Normally, like if I get to sleep all night, I don't have breakfast until after 6...and it usually within 1/2 hour of when I wake up...
I just don't understand why my 10 month old (who has been consistently sleeping all night) had to pick the night his dad was gone to be a whiney flinty butt... and if I could sleep without my cpap, id kick back in this chair and snooze away...just more motivation to get this weight off (although, I believe my enlarged tonsils are the cause of my apnea, but what do I know?)
Sorry this is such a long jumbled mess, and I apologize for any errors...I'm running on 3 hours sleep and typing on my kindle fire...

Ahhhhh no that is rubbish!! Quick gulp down some water really fast and in about twenty minutes you won't be hungry anymore. It always works for me.0

Maybe . . . . eat something??0

Ahh I really feel for you- kids do pick their times don't they? When I was breastfeeding, mine never slept when it was my TOM, just when you really need the rest! Maybe just have a snackette (banana, toast,) just keep your sugar levels from dipping and spiking. And I find that reading loads of posts on here helps the time pass quickly!
Hope you get some needed sleep soon x0 -
There's really nothing wrong, if you're awake with the munchkin for hours on end, with eating something. There were times, with my daughter, that I'd end up sitting in a chair, rocking for hours on end. She would fall asleep on me and instead of me wanting to disturb her I'd just sit there. Before I'd sit down I would make something small, peanut butter and jelly sammich..something, and have that.
When our bodies are awake it burns calories faster than it would while we were asleep. So thus we need to fuel it. Even if you're used to eating at certain times, changes in your schedule may need to be done. So if you're up for 3 hours and haven't eaten.. BY GOD WOMAN EAT! If chugging water doesn't help obviously you're ACTUALLY hungry so fuel your body so you don't end up sick/tired/even more exhausted than you are due to lack of sleep!0 -
If you're hungry, eat. There is no rule that says you can't eat at night :flowerforyou:
ETA: if you're breast feeding, I would definitely recommend eating0 -
Thanks all! Finally got the munchkin to bed...drank some water, it helped but I'm still a lil hungry...but too tired at this point to find a snack. Going to sleep while I can0
