I discovered 10K101.com and think it's incredibly motivating. Just wanted to share the info in case you are trying to step up your running regime and want a solid plan!

    Thanks for sharing! I just registered for my first 10k in June and the farthest I have ever run is five miles (and that was awhile ago, I haven't been running as much lately) so I'm excited/nervous to train to get up to 10k!

    There are plenty of free programs...I'm sure I'll be able to find out. Too bad this one isn't free.

    I'm on week 9 of Jeff Galloway's 10k training plan, which has me running 3 days/week (2 for time, 1 for distance) and cross-trainining 3 days.

    I have one month left before my first 10k and feel pretty confident already.

    Like the poster above, Jeff Galloway plans...
    Also Hal Higdon has free training plans for multiple distances, including 10k.
    If you enjoyed Couch to 5k there's something called Bridge to 10k as well as One Hour Runner that are both similar.
